Okay, it’s time for yet another helicopter post! This time, the Silverlit Z-Bruce. This is my first Silverlit model, and was actually bought to help me gain a little more experience and confidence with which to fly the E-flite Blade CX3 MD 520N, which my parents bought for me a couple of Christmases ago.
It only dawned on me recently that, while I’ve been posting stories about my remote control helicopters, I already had a remote control vehicle which I’d owned for years and not mentioned at all.
Yes, it’s yet another helicopter post! This time, the Lucky Boy 9961. It’s a strange brand name… but it’s an awesome heli! Not only does it look nice, it also carries a camera capable of capturing photos and video with audio.
After a bit of a break, I recently started flying my Apache helicopter again, and enjoyed it as much as ever. So much so that I got fed up waiting for it to recharge ready for the next flight, and – yes – bought some more.
After the hell that is the first lawn cutting of the year, and with no sign of the rain the MET office had promised us for the weekend, I decided yesterday that it was the perfect opportunity to get the batteries charged up and take my helicopters out into the garden for the first time.
